Client portal: stock, exports and delivered lots
What your clients can now see and download in the portal: real available stock, product and stock exports, and the lots delivered on each of their shipping orders.
What it does
Clients who access the client portal can now see more accurate stock information for their own products, export what they see to Excel, and check exactly which lots were delivered on a shipping order, without asking you for that information directly.
How it works
Available stock, not just totals
The portal's stock screens now show available stock, the quantity that is actually free to be ordered, instead of the raw physical quantity. Available stock excludes anything already reserved for another order, so what the client sees matches what they can actually still ask for. This is the same distinction used everywhere else in Logistics WMS between available and total stock.
Exporting products and stock
An Export to Excel button is available on the portal's product and stock list screens. The export only ever includes that client's own products and stock, the same scoping already applied to everything else the client sees in the portal.
Delivered lots on an order
Opening a shipping order in the portal now shows a Delivered lots section on the order detail, listing the lot (batch) number and quantity for everything that has shipped on that order. This matters most for clients who need lot traceability on their end, food, cosmetics or pharma distributors, for example.
Important notes
- These changes apply automatically to every client with portal access; there is nothing to turn on.
- What a client can see is still governed by their portal permissions: if a user can't view orders or stock at all, these additions don't change that.
- Exports respect the same product and stock scoping as the rest of the portal; a client can never export another client's data.
