    Ticks and the EU AI Act

    Last updated: October 2026

    Ticks is the LogisticsWMS artificial intelligence assistant. This page explains, under the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), what Ticks is, what information it uses, how that information is protected and what its limits are. It complements the "AI Transparency" section of our Privacy Policy.

    1. You are interacting with AI

    Ticks is an artificial intelligence system. Everything it writes is generated automatically by AI models. It helps set up your warehouse and answers your team's questions about using LogisticsWMS.

    2. What information Ticks uses

    To answer, Ticks may use:

    • the questions and messages you write to it;
    • operational data from your warehouse relevant to the question — for example product codes, stock, orders or locations;
    • your company's name and profile (industry, goals, way of working), to tailor answers to your operation;
    • when the account is created, a web search for the company name, to learn about the business from public information.

    3. How that information is protected

    • Personal data is minimized before AI processing: email addresses, phone numbers, person names, IP addresses and URLs in messages are replaced with placeholders before they leave LogisticsWMS and restored only inside LogisticsWMS.
    • Conversation data is processed by external AI infrastructure providers solely for generating responses, under strict contractual safeguards, and is not used to train third-party AI models.
    • Each company has its own isolated database; Ticks only accesses the data of the company of the user it is talking to.

    4. Improving Ticks

    LogisticsWMS is an AI-powered product, so consent to the use of AI is requested at signup. With that consent, conversations with Ticks may be analyzed by authorized LogisticsWMS staff (such as functional consultants and developers) to improve AI features and system performance.

    5. Limitations

    Outputs may occasionally contain errors or incomplete information. Please verify critical operational information before acting upon it.

    6. Your rights

    You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting your company's system administrator. Withdrawal does not affect data already retained for security, audit or compliance purposes.

    Your rights under the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, objection and portability) and how to exercise them are described in our Privacy Policy.
