    A specialised WMS is built for warehouse operations: locations, receiving, picking, shipping and traceability. An ERP with a warehouse module also covers invoicing, accounting or sales, and tracks stock as part of that suite, usually with less depth in the physical warehouse processes.

    Artificial intelligence: what each system offers

    • LogisticsWMS: Ticks proactively monitors the operation, correlates KPIs to find the cause of problems, warns you before they escalate and answers questions in plain language. It is in beta and included in every plan; the Intelligent plan has more credits.
    • Mecalux Easy WMS: Easy AI is a generative AI chat in seven languages that answers questions about warehouse data, builds dashboards and reports, and carries out actions after you confirm them in the conversation.
    • STEL Order: STEL Assistant is a conversational assistant, by text or voice, that carries out actions such as creating invoices, checking stock or preparing orders.
    • Odoo: It includes an AI app with configurable agents and an assistant, plus demand forecasting with suggested reorder points. Only in Odoo Enterprise, not in the Community edition.
    • Generix WMS: Its Resource Management System is an AI-based SaaS module for forecasting workload and planning warehouse resources.
    • SISLOG, Pulpo WMS, Eye Peak: we found no public information on specific AI features; ask the vendor.

    The systems, one by one

    LogisticsWMS

    Strengths
    Published price from €25/user/month and a 14-day free trial; go-live in 48 hours; integrations with e-commerce, ERP and Spanish carriers (Nacex, Correos Express); Ticks AI assistant; APLOG Logistics Excellence Award 2026, Startup category.
    Limitations
    Younger company and smaller team than vendors with decades in the market; fewer customer references in Spain; cloud only, no on-premise version; fewer automation and robotics integrations than Mecalux. Ticks is in beta.
    Best for
    SMEs, online stores and small logistics operators that want a cloud WMS without a long implementation project.

    Mecalux Easy WMS

    Strengths
    Spanish intralogistics manufacturer founded in 1966, headquartered in Barcelona; SaaS or on-premise; multi-owner, multi-warehouse and omnichannel; integration with Mecalux automated systems.
    Limitations
    Price on request, so you need to talk to sales to compare cost.
    Best for
    Medium and large warehouses, especially those that have or plan automation (stacker cranes, shuttles, AGV/AMR).

    SISLOG

    Strengths
    Developed in Spain since 1998; more than 100 customers and more than 500 implementations in Spain, Portugal and South America; part of Hardis Group since 2023, with a team in Madrid; cloud subscription model.
    Limitations
    Price on request.
    Best for
    Food, pharma, cosmetics, textile and distribution companies, and logistics operators looking for an established Spanish vendor.

    Pulpo WMS

    Strengths
    Published prices; Shopify integration from the App Store, plus WooCommerce, Magento and Sendcloud; dedicated 3PL plan.
    Limitations
    The most affordable published plan starts at €590/month with annual billing.
    Best for
    E-commerce and D2C fulfilment.

    STEL Order

    Strengths
    Cloud ERP with per-user pricing; multi-warehouse and stock transfers.
    Limitations
    It is an ERP with a warehouse module, not a specialised WMS; multi-warehouse is a premium feature.
    Best for
    Freelancers and SMEs that want invoicing, CRM and stock in a single tool.

    Odoo

    Strengths
    Published per-user price; Inventory app with lots, expiry dates and FEFO strategy; cloud or on-premise; large app catalogue.
    Limitations
    Partner implementation is paid separately from the licence; it is a general-purpose ERP, not a specialised WMS.
    Best for
    Companies that want a full ERP (accounting, sales, inventory) on one platform and have an implementation partner.

    Generix WMS

    Strengths
    Multi-client management with a 3PL portal; SaaS; traceability, catch weight, cross-docking and dynamic dock management; cases in Portugal (Frioriver, Logidis).
    Limitations
    Price on request.
    Best for
    3PL and 4PL logistics operators, and medium and large manufacturers and distributors.

    Eye Peak

    Strengths
    Integration with Cegid Primavera, and also with PHC and SAP; works with handheld terminals and label printers; partner network in Portugal.
    Limitations
    Price on request; sales and implementation through partners.
    Best for
    Companies already using the Cegid Primavera ERP.
