Kardex (ASRS)
Connect the WMS to a Kardex automated storage and retrieval system.
What it does
Connect the WMS to an automated storage and retrieval (ASRS) Kardex system, automatically routing stock operations to Kardex-managed locations.
How it works
- Once configured, any stock operation (putaway, picking) at a Kardex location is automatically routed to the equipment, with no extra manual steps.
- Settings include connection parameters (host, port, credentials) and operation parameters for putaway / retrieval.
- An Audit tab logs every operation and any communication errors with the equipment.
How to set it up
- Activate the plugin under Plugins → Other Integrations.
- In Settings, enter the connection parameters (host, port, user, password).
- Adjust operation parameters — boolean settings toggle directly; the rest require click-to-edit, change, confirm.
Important notes
Requires a stable network link between the WMS and the Kardex equipment — communication failures are logged in the Audit tab for diagnosis.
