Automatic renewal (new)

Logistics WMS can now renew your NMVS certificate with MVO Portugal on its own, before it expires — no TAN, no email, no manual download.

A daily job checks every tenant with NMVS active and renews the certificate through MVO's certificate-authenticated connection whenever the current one is inside its renewal window.
The new certificate is only installed after Logistics WMS confirms it loads correctly, is complete, and is newer than the one in use. If any check fails, your current certificate is left in place and nothing changes.
Password renewal is separate and opt-in. Automatic certificate renewal is on by default; automatically rotating your MVO login password is off by default, because that password is sometimes shared with other systems or used to log in to the MVO Web portal directly. Turn it on only if you're sure nothing else depends on the current password.

The new Connection tab

Go to Plugins → NMVS.
Open the Connection tab.
Use Test connection to check every MVO endpoint, including the certificate-authenticated one, without sending any real data.
The Certificates tab now also shows Renew now, a field for a recovery TAN (if MVO asks for one), and the renewal history, so you can see exactly when a certificate was renewed and whether it was automatic or manual.

When you'll still get an email from MVO

If a certificate falls outside the renewal window, or MVO requires a fresh TAN that Logistics WMS doesn't already have, you'll still receive the usual "NMVS reminder: your certificate will expire in XX days" email. In that case, follow the steps below exactly as before.

NMVS reminder: your certificate will expire in XX days

Whenever you receive an email from MVO with the subject NMVS reminder: your certificate will expire in XX days, first check the tag inserted in the subject before that sentence — it determines what you should do.

Case 1 — [NMVS-Sandbox ONE System] | [NMVS-IQE.PT Environment]

If the tag is [NMVS-Sandbox ONE System] or [NMVS-IQE.PT Environment], you can follow the steps in the email but you don't need to do anything with the certificate you obtain. Those were credentials used to gain access to the system, no longer in use but potentially needed in the future.

Case 2 — [NMVS-PRD.PT Environment]

If the tag is [NMVS-PRD.PT Environment], you have to validate which Client_Login_Id and user are associated with the email. The Client_Login_Id typically starts with 151 and ends with the company name (e.g. 151LogisticsWMS). The user is the name defined when the MVO user was created.

First check that the Client_Login_Id looks familiar. If not, stop — it could be phishing.

If it is familiar, there are three possible cases for the user:

If user = ADMIN, follow the steps in the email and install the certificate on your computer. This certificate is needed for future user changes or MVO Portugal connection changes.
If user = the user configured in Logistics WMS (Plugins → NMVS → Authentication), obtain the new certificate and upload it into the system.
If user = something else, it belongs to another software. Check with that software's provider what to do.

Uploading the certificate into LWMS

To upload the certificate into LogisticsWMS, follow the steps in the MVO email and download the certificate. During the process you'll get a password that you must store somewhere safe — once the window is closed you can't retrieve it and you'll need to contact MVO for a new one.

Once you have the certificate on your computer:

Go to Plugins in the sidebar and select the NMVS tab.
Open the Certificates tab.
On the row that says Certificate, click the button. Upload the certificate and enter its password.
Select Save.

💡 Tip: you can turn automatic renewal off at any time from Plugins → NMVS → Connection if you'd rather handle every renewal manually.
