The Received Volumes tree in receptions
See everything you received grouped as a tree of volumes, print volume labels, and move reception lines into a volume | even after they were received.
What it does
The Volumes tab on a reception shows everything you received organized as a tree of volumes (containers). Each volume groups the lines stored inside it, so you can see at a glance how the goods are arranged. The same tree is used across the reception detail, the operational screen, the reception history and packing, so it always looks and behaves the same way.
Printing volume labels
From the Volumes tab you can print a label for every volume in the reception in one go:
- Open the reception and select the Volumes tab.
- Select Print volume labels.
- A PDF with one label per volume is generated, ready to print.
If the reception has no volumes yet, there is nothing to print | assign the lines to a volume first (see below).
Moving lines into a volume
Goods sometimes arrive without a container, or need to be reorganized after being received. You can move reception lines into a volume at any time:
- In the Volumes tab, select the lines you want to organize.
- Select Move to volume.
- Choose New volume to create one, or Existing volume to pick one already in the reception.
- Select Assign to confirm. The lines move into the chosen volume and the tree updates.
Note: lines can only be grouped into volumes within the same reception.
