DPD
Create shipments, generate labels and retrieve delivery status from DPD directly from the WMS.
What it does
Create shipments, generate labels and retrieve delivery status from DPD directly from a shipping order, without leaving the WMS.
How it works
- Once configured, the connection status is visible at the top of the plugin's configuration page.
- The recipient's country is recognized automatically from the delivery address. If it can't be matched to a real country, the shipment is rejected with a clear error naming the country, instead of guessing a destination for it.
- Postal codes are formatted for the destination country automatically before the shipment is sent to DPD.
- Once a shipment is created, the shipping order automatically follows its delivery status with DPD: it stays “In Shipping” until the carrier confirms delivery, at which point it moves to “Delivered”.
- You can download the label and check the delivery status directly from the Shipping Orders list.
- Click the delivery status tag in the Shipping Orders list to open a popover with the full tracking-event history, or the error message if the shipment failed.
- When closing packing on an order with an automatic carrier plugin, you can use Confirm with carrier label to finish the shipment in one click instead of confirming manually.
- If you connect an online store (Shopify, Shopkit or Jumpseller) and the submission to DPD briefly fails, the order is still marked as fulfilled on the store right away; the real tracking number is filled in automatically as soon as DPD confirms it.
How to set it up
- Activate the plugin under Plugins → Carriers. If you don't have a DPD carrier yet, the app offers to create one for you, already linked to the plugin.
- Enter the credentials provided by DPD.
- Test the connection.
- Set the defaults available for new shipments.
💡 Tip: inside the application, each plugin's configuration page has an Integration Guide button with the detailed technical walk-through.
