Bling
Connect Bling to the WMS: sales orders, purchase orders and inbound NF-e become warehouse documents, and stock is posted back to Bling.
What it does
Connects the WMS to Bling, the Brazilian ERP: Bling sales orders arrive as shipping orders, purchase orders as reception notes, and the stock that goes in and out of the warehouse is posted back to Bling. You can also import inbound NF-e (your suppliers' notas fiscais) as reception notes.
How it works
- Products and contacts: on the first activation, the WMS imports every product and contact from Bling; after that, it brings only what changed, every night. With Lots and expiry dates on, products are created with lot and expiry-date control; with Kits as bundles, Bling kits arrive as bundle products with their components.
- Sales orders → shipping orders: orders in the Bling statuses you choose are imported as shipping orders. On dispatch, the order moves in Bling to the status you set and, with Post stock on dispatch on, the stock is posted to Bling.
- Purchase orders → reception notes: purchase orders in the statuses you choose are imported as reception notes. When the reception closes, the WMS posts the stock that arrived to Bling and the order moves to the received status, or to the partial status when not everything arrived.
- Inbound NF-e → reception notes: an authorised inbound NF-e (tipo 0) in Bling becomes a reception note, in the reception process you choose, with the NF-e number as its reference. If the NF-e names a purchase order from the same supplier that has already been imported, no new note is created: the NF-e is linked to that order's note. If the order only arrives after the NF-e, the order is linked to the NF-e's note instead. When the reception closes, the WMS posts the stock received to Bling.
- NF-e on dispatch: with Dispatch only with an authorized NF-e, a shipping order from Bling cannot be dispatched until Bling has an authorised NF-e for it; with Generate the NF-e on dispatch, the WMS asks Bling to issue it on dispatch.
- Stock adjustments: with Send stock adjustments to Bling, inventory counts and stock corrections made in the WMS are posted to Bling.
- Stock: every night the WMS compares its stock with each Bling depósito. The Stock tab lists the differences and the postings Bling refused, each with a Retry. The WMS stays the stock master: nothing is corrected automatically.
How to set it up
- Under Plugins → ERPs, open the Bling plugin.
- On the Connection tab, copy the Callback URL and the Webhook URL into your app in the Bling developer area (developer.bling.com.br), and subscribe the webhooks for orders, products, stock and invoices there. Then enter that app's Client id and Client secret.
- Press Connect Bling and sign in with a Bling user that can authorise the app for the company.
- On the Warehouses tab, pick the Bling depósito of each WMS warehouse.
- On the Shipping orders tab, press Add status and choose the sales order statuses to import and the status each order moves to on dispatch. Do the same on the Receptions tab if you receive Bling purchase orders.
- To import inbound NF-e, open the Settings tab and, in Reception process for inbound NF-e (empty = do not import), set the reception process that receives these notes. Post received stock to Bling for inbound NF-e is on by default; turn it off if you don't want the received stock posted to Bling.
- Turn on the Active switch at the top of the page.
Important notes
- Only administrators see the Plugins menu.
- Bling cannot be active together with Moloni, Moloni ON or Sage.
- Without at least one status on the Shipping orders or Receptions tab, no orders arrive from Bling. Stock is only compared and posted for warehouses mapped to a depósito.
- The first activation can take up to an hour for a large catalogue. To import every product and contact right away, use Import products and contacts now on the Import tab.
- Sales orders arrive through the webhooks and through a check every 15 minutes. If an order fails to import, the WMS tries again up to five times. Purchase orders only arrive through the 15-minute check, because Bling sends no purchase order webhooks.
- Order import window (days) sets how many days back the import looks (7 by default). It also applies to inbound NF-e.
- Inbound NF-e import is off by default: until you set a reception process, no NF-e is read, imported or posted. Only authorised NF-e from a depósito mapped to a warehouse are imported.
- Each NF-e item is looked up in the WMS by its Bling id, then its code (SKU), then its GTIN. If an item matches none, the whole NF-e is not imported. With Lots and expiry dates on, each lot on the NF-e gets its own line.
- If the NF-e changes in Bling before the reception starts, the note's lines are updated; if it is cancelled, the note is cancelled. Once the reception has started, the note is no longer changed.
- On close, the WMS posts what was received, not what the NF-e says. An NF-e without a depósito posts no stock. When an NF-e and a purchase order share the same note, each product is posted only once; a purchase order linked to an NF-e's note does not change status in Bling.
- If Bling stops accepting the connection, the Connection tab says so and nothing is sent to Bling until you press Reconnect Bling. The other tabs stay open so you can see what is pending.
