    Wave Picking

    What is Wave Picking?

Wave Picking is a work organization method where orders are not processed as they arrive, but instead grouped into planned work "waves." These waves are released to the warehouse at strategic times throughout the day.

How to Design a "Wave" in WMS?

The warehouse manager can configure waves based on:

    Carrier Schedule

Group all orders that need to leave on the 4:00 PM truck.

    Geographic Zone

Orders for the northern region of the country.

    Customer Priority

"Premium" customers or urgent 24h shipments.

    Required Equipment

Separate orders that require forklifts from manual orders.

    Tactical Efficiency

Wave Picking prevents operational chaos, enabling a steady workflow and ensuring that shipping cut-off times are strictly met.
