    Cobots (Collaborative Robots)

    What are Cobots?

Cobots (Collaborative Robots) are robotic arms or autonomous vehicles designed to work safely alongside humans in a shared workspace. Unlike traditional industrial robots that operate inside safety cages, cobots feature advanced sensors that halt movement upon detecting human presence.

    Intralogistics Applications

Cobots play an increasingly important role in warehouse operations:

    Picking and Packing

They assist in picking items from shelves or packing heavy boxes, reducing physical strain and operator injuries.

    Palletizing

They can be programmed to stack boxes on pallets with precision and consistent force.

    Internal Transport

AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots) transport picking carts between zones, allowing operators to focus solely on collection.

    WMS Synchronization

The WMS communicates with Cobots to assign missions in real time. This collaboration between artificial intelligence and human flexibility enables the creation of high-performance warehouses (Logistics 4.0), increasing productivity without fully replacing human labor.
