    Consolidation (Freight)

    What is Freight Consolidation?

Consolidation is the process of combining multiple small orders, destined for the same geographic region or customer, into a single larger load unit. The goal is to maximize the use of transport space and reduce the cost per unit shipped.

    WMS Logic in Consolidation

The software must be intelligent enough to identify orders that can be "matched":

    Order Consolidation

If the same customer placed three different orders on the same day, the WMS instructs packing to combine everything into a single box.

    Route Consolidation

Grouping orders from different customers that will be delivered by the same truck, ensuring the vehicle departs at maximum capacity.

    Economic Advantage

Fewer transport documents, fewer labels, and significantly reduced shipping costs.
